Embodiment of a Song
Poetry flows through me
Like the blood in my veins,
Like the water that makes up all of my muscles & membranes;
It starts from the heart,then travels to the brain
Where emotions are perceived from happiness to pain,
In turn starts anxiety,to failure,to blame
A haunted house of darkness,who's doormat reads "Insane";
Through eyes I've seen,& ears I've heard
This is what the world wants me to believe, to put stress my nerves;
"That system won't effect mine!"
My conscious tells me,
My body is a temple,to he who believes;
I begin to pick my soul up from the bottom of my feet
Cartilage moves in my cheeks,
And then through follicles out my teeth;
"Who can hear this boy preach?"
My speech is for whoever it can reach,
But most importantly,poetry is for me!
