The Embrace

I live alone! saying I enjoy my solitude does not mean I wish to be lonely I just want someone to learn my peace before I welcome them into my kingdom disrupted I am a mess the one they call the bitch refusing to be like them I become; what they call high and mighty but the accusation is of a act ... honey ... I am. you see I was born a queen that's why I will step and be the first to say I am self centered but I am not selfish my focus must be myself! but when it reaches ... Honey when it reaches Zeus himself will hand me a lightning bolt to strike as I please! But these hands are gentle. ... I do not walk the path they pathed ... I am not controlled by material gain But wisdom I seek to be the wises fool there is ... each time I fall I rise up is that not mighty my tongue could be as sharp as a blade but a weapon that destroys it is not not to you but for me ... I have felt it all so forgive me; for not placing myself in your shoes, but I no longer wear that size solitude was not just my gift but a blessing in disguise

Very interesting read. I find myself empathizing with many of the traits set forth.
