Embrace the Pain

Pensive it starts,

With the song of a bird;

Onwards until it encounters

The gathering of clouds.

A rainy day with dust,

Settling like a sandstorm.

Suddenly doom pervades,

As we know that fate has spoken.

A small quiet cry is heard,

The distant cacophony of the many

Has been captured in sound;

Sound rumbles as the sky turns dark.

Stark voices now sound,

It changes our view;

Do we draw back, from dejection,

Or embrace the pain.
