Embracing The Dream
I saw you in a dream,
Never met you once before.
Is this how you will appear when I meet you?
Or is it a disguise wrapped around your aura?
All I know is that I feel safe when I hug you,
I wish for an eternal embrace.
Suddenly know how to dance,
Waltzing with you around the room.
This location needs not be a fancy venue,
Special as long as it is with you.
I can feel the protection of your love,
A moment from which I hope to never awake.
How far would you take this dance?
Would you join me in the darkest caverns?
Would you join me beneath the falling rain?
Would you join me in the cremating flame?
Would you join me on the tallest platform,
If it ascended spinning into the sky?
Dance in the dawn,
Dance in the day,
Dance in the dusk,
Dance with me in eternal night.
Dancing on a discus thrown by a giant,
Made of marble like a ballroom floor.
Spiraling on the surface of the Earth,
Giving crop circles a run for their money.
Our perfections unharmed and in tact,
No behemoth footprint can match our impact.
