Emergence

Here but never seen

Hide behind the camera

I am a coward

Stuck in a small world

Yearning for new adventures

Dare I make the jump

The cross behind me

My world expands to nations

Cultures abounding

Go into the world

Find myself in their faces

Not as much afraid

Here and now I see

Once blind eyes, now opening

Bursting forth to life

Oh amazing life

How awesome to be a part

Gaze at all things new

Turn the camera

Sunlight reflects in green eyes

Learning how to smile.
