Emotion Expolsion

The Tears and heartbreak come crashing Down like a spider being crushed by a child These emotions rage around me in a wild hurricane I grab a pen and paper And write the heartbreak into words The tears run dry and my heart is mended A thousand pounds are lifted off of me I can breathe again The joy and happiness spill out of me I can hardly take it Cloud Nine is nothing compared to this I grab a pen and paper And write the joy into words Now the happiness I have can be shared by others Other people can feel joyous by these words I smile with content Words and phrases come to my mind all of a sudden Inspiration hits me in the head with a metal baseball bat I can not stop thinking about these words all day I finally found a pen and paper And write these words down into a poem Other words flow onto the page like the ocean flowing onto the shore The poem is complete I read the poem and wonder how I came up with this I write to let emotions out I write to bring others happiness I write to let my mind flow and grow I write to write I write when I need to I write where I like to I write how I want to I write for myself I write because I love to write
