Emotions running through my mind

Fear of the future and running out of time

Before we can be great together even see far and wide

Why are these emotions getting the best of me every time

Feeling lost in the depths of a fragile mind

Thinking what if and when like it’s a broken record in a bind

Of a broken piece or a scratch much like the heart

If it’s broken or it’s cracked where does it start?

Mending broken pieces seems to be what I do best, everyday

A different challenge am I living up to the test

Of My maker up above and my loved ones down below

I don’t know if I have made a difference but this time I’m gone

Emotional, breaking down to the core

Emotional, crying and wanting more

 Emotional, when are they gonna see

That I’m doing all that I can and giving them the best of me!!!!!

Darkness consumes but love does heal

The memories of the past and focuses on what’s real

But question still remains is love ever true?

I know it is cause I found love in you

You bring to my knees and test me everyday

And love me through those challenges and show me different ways

To cope with life’s nightmares and forgiving and understanding love

Baby why did you choose me and my fragile heart?

I was broken when you found me and yet you stayed around

You helped through my nightmares without even making a sound

You don’t know just how much you have saved my life

Caused me to realize that I have to finish my fight
