Emotionless feeling

If you ask me how i feel

I wont answer honestly

I'll smile politely and say

I'm fine thank you and you?

I won't tell you that i don't know what to do

I'm drowning 

Lost in this dark sea

If you ask me how i feel

I'll tell you what you want to hear

I want to scream i don't know

I want to know 

But i don't

If you ask me how i feel

I'll smile

I wont tell the truth

I'll pretend

Make up some emotion

I dont know emotion

Not like most do

I hold my breath

Searching deep inside myself

Trying to bring my emotions to light

Maybe i was born this way

Or maybe i was taught

All i know is that i can't tell you what i feel
