Emotions

I can’t describe this

Endless swimming in the abyss

Until it was you that found me

Saving me from this endless sea

It is you that frees me

From my cage where I’m left to be

Every word written

And every memory missed

Taking time from my tasks

Breaking through my mask

I need to get a grip

But you’re an addiction I can’t shake

I can’t get enough

But I can’t do this any longer

You’re dangerous

You’re venomous

You slip into my veins

Reacting poorly with my brain

Just when I think you’ve been slain

You come back once again

And I can’t do this

I can’t handle you…
