Emotions?
A month ago, my dearest friend moved to another state
He had been my best friend since forever
We shared stories about school, about life
We celebrated over each other’s success
We grieved over each other’s failure
We could never be separated
Not even with the strongest storm or the biggest earthquake
The next day, I came to school, still laughing with friends
Still talking to them like the normal, happy me.
A week ago, my sister left to study abroad
She had been the most precious woman in my life
She guided me through school
She shared her every hobbies with me
She knew when I am troubled, when I am sad
She made fun of me when I cry
But I love her laughter oh so much
The next day, I came to school, still giggling with friends
Still chatting with them like the usual, cheerful me
Yesterday, my grandmother passed away
She had been the most important person in my life
She took care of me, she watched over me
She played with me when I was small
She brighten up my dad when I feel sad
She knew everything about me
I love her with all my heart
Today, I came to school, still snickering with friends
Still babbling with them like the ordinary me
Am I sad? Melancholic? Depressed?
Am I sorrowed? Unhappy? Gloomy?
Am I heavy-hearted? Somber? Cheerless?
Am I mournful? Despair? Wretched?
Yes, I am
But tomorrow,I will go to school, I will laugh with my friends
Still talking to them like the normal, happy me.
