Emotions

Have you ever felt so hard?

Cried so much that your soft cries start s to sound like the works of Mozart.

Dreamed so hard that you can’t tell real life and fantasy apart?

Have you ever smiled, not with your face but with your soul?

Like silk, wrapped around the heart that you lover stole.

Have you ever been so anxious, fueled by impatience?

Driven by your previous feeling  complacence?

Have you ever been so angry that that you can see your blood rise?

You just sit down and reminisce and think of all the lies.

Pain, like cancer metastasizing in your lung

The most beautiful artwork that you mind has ever sung.

Emotions. How can we live without them?

That is the root that all of humanity stems.

Without them you’re so empty, you’re so lifeless.

Like listening to a song sung by a dead chorus.

Emotions. I couldn’t live without the

They fuel me, they drive me, they always keep me busy.
