Emotions

Alone in the darkness is where I am

Every night my soul collapses

Thinking I have no one, no friends, or family

Don't know where to begin, where to start

I feel nothing but emptiness in my body, in my mind, and in my heart

I cry days upon days, feeling hollow

Depression is the devil and is hard to swallow

Always feeling lonely and confused

Always being reminded of how I was abused

I feel like I'm going through hell when I feel like this

All I've ever wanted was to conquer and feel bliss

It crawls all throughout my body and skin

Deteriorting every piece of happiness God has given

Always asking myself, "When is it going to stop?"

At times I feel as if I have conquered it, but it just keeps coming back, I guess not

Scared that this might cause an end

Never being able to see my family and friends again

That is not what my heart wants, that's not it's desire

But every time I feel like this, I get weaker and more tired

But I will not make this night my last night

I cannot be without that special someone in my life,  that someone I can't hurt

So I fight
