Emotions kept in check
How hard it must be
Knowing that the two of you will never be
Will never be the one
That always comes up in your mind
But keep in mind
That despite the hurdles that you face
An event will eventually light up your face
The same event that you always see in your dreams
Dreams that would often make you cry
Events where the two of you are happy
But how can you be that happy
When you know that it will never happen from the start
When you know that living in those dreams will only break your heart
And seeing her happy from a distance will just keep tearing you apart
Seeing her innocent face
The way she strikes a thinking pose
Just seeing her smile gives you a daily dose
A dose that you need to replace that sad facade
Because for you she will always be the best
For you,shes the one you want to live with till its time
Till its time for the two of you to finally lay to rest
Then your friends will ask you why?
Why dont you let your feelings out?
Why dont you tell her of the plans youve laid out
Plans that youve lain for the life ahead of you two
Even though since you came to understand life
You never planned for anything
But since you began to know her
You started to plan for everything
You became blinded by happiness
Happiness if your plan ever comes into fruition
All the while knowing that all will come into nothingness
And you will be lead into self destruction
So why dont you tell her?
And you tell them,it is because you care fo her
That it is cause you are aware of her dreams
And you want to see her living in those dreams
And that is why no matter how much it hurts
Youre still willing to wait
No matter how unsure you are of what the future might hold
Youre still holding on to hope
Hoping that someday
You would gather enough courage
To finally tell her
Of all the things that lies deep within your heart
