Throughout the years I’ve known you I have always said That if you were to leave this life I would go instead. Your life is oh so precious Your smile oh so rare For me to lose your friendship Is more than I can bear. Your eyes are winter storms, Your hair an autumn breeze, Your laugh is like the spring birds That sing throughout the trees. Your passion is like summer, On a long and stormy night; And I will forever have regrets Of the day you left my sight.
