LOVED

My one wish could be to feel loved Loved like not those in the romantic movie But the world where there is empathy Everywhere I go I see laughter being shared instead of those hateful eyes Eating each other up The soulless creature cares too much about itself Contented to see the world burn in their eyes As long as they stay alive. I wish the world could understand Each other’s sorrow Instead of assessing critically Giving a helping hand like those Is lighting a match in the dark Trusting it will carry No give and take But the world where every debt Is repaid with a smile Instead of a receipt. Oh, to live in this world Will be my wish No materialistic thing as astonishing as A world where every creature Being loved, feeling loved, giving love.
