Empowered

I draw my strength from the Sun it beats down on me and I let it my time outside makes me strong my feet pound the grass and I sweat out my fear anger pain it all drips off my skin the heat is my friend burning away all that is bad I have been hiding all day inside now is my time to go out and show what I'm made of I run my races jump higher then all the rest I don't drop the ball I enter the pit spin and launch the disc further than all the rest My team cheers for me and I cheer for them we make each other strong and we all draw from the Sun and when the sun goes down we leave the field with smiles from ear to ear empowered
