Emptiness
The emptiness in me craves warmth,
And this warmth can only fill up the parts that let it enter, some parts are forbidden, they masked out all the happiness left in me, and disguised the nightmares into dreams and I swear to you, these parts are the ones that rock me to sleep, singing me a lullaby about death and fear. It makes me grip my pillow tight as I cry and scream for help, yet no sound ever escapes.
I swear to you these parts in me can not be filled up with warmth, they gave up on the happiness it deserved. It stung me with thorns and laid down dead roses on my grave. It masked my happiness with a frown and told it, it's a disgrace.
My happiness can no longer be seen, if an ounce of it appears the darkness takes it back in clutching it within it's deadly grip. Screaming at it, using taunting words and for punishment it must turn upside down and let the tears leave it's cage.
I can no longer see a light or even a small forest fire, I can only see a blue ray that leads to the empty parts of me. They increase day by day and I feel my happiness withering away, the darkness has kept it prisoner in a jail filled with the victims it captured. And I swear to you, each victim fell for the trap, instead of the happy ending the darkness promised, it only left despair and tears for it's audience to fill up the emptiness in me.
Please save me and fill me up with warmth before the ending of my tale, this isn't a fairy tale and I'm no princess but with your help the darkness will shrink and all the victims can escape, and my smile can light up your way even in the darkest chapters of your life.
The darkness in me craves victims not warmth, but I crave the warmth you radiate
