Emptiness...

I look at myself in the mirror..

I see a face, full of resentment and eyes blank...

The void in my heart is killing me..

The thoughts of being alone, devours my soul...

The loneliness is scary, it's petrifying..

But why do I go to bed every night, without even trying...

I thought about you, I imagined a canvas..

There, laid to rest was my heart, a rotting carcass....

A heart injured.. Gunshot by your cruelty, a disheartened throw back..

And just then, i decided to keep my canvas, a forever blank...

This emptiness... It kills me..

It... It paralyses me from breathing...

But, what else can I do, if not write...

The memories.. They stop me from leaving...
