The Emptiness Of My Heart

Dear Guilty,

The day I left, was the day of uncertain,

The way I left, I was truly hurtin'.

Through your warmth and through your kindness,

I'll never forget, I'll never deny this.

You entered my life, and now you're gone.

I wish I hadn't left, I've lost the bond.

I know you're fine, I know you're well.

I'll try not to think, I'll try not to dwell.

You are my friend, I won't deny,

I have to accept, I want to cry.

I know I won't see you, forever more,

I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, My Dogs no more.

Love,

Your Best Friend
