Empty

It’s all empty,

Everything’s lost,

Everything’s gone,

Lost forever,

My empty heart

Yearns to be full once again,

But I don’t know

How long I can even go on,

I feel so helpless,

So tired and weary,

So powerless,

So empty inside,

I can only feel

An empty hole

Existing where my fragile heart

Once was.

writers_gonna_write

I have been writing poetry for 5 years now and I have a collection of over 600 original poems I've made. I submitted a poem to Appelley Publishing and was published in the 2018 addition of their poetry book. I love to read and write, and I have a cat and a hamster.
