Empty

Light beams into an empty house

Dust collects and feathers flutter

The snuffles of the little mouse

The silence from the leftover laughter

Once had happy memories

Held families together

Now there is only misery

And nothing left to discover

Not in the walls nor air

Shall the secrets reappear
