Empty

Lying on the bathroom floor
Staring at that closed door
Praying someone opens it
Praying they give her something to fight for

So empty inside
Except for that bottle of pills
Laying next to her as she cried

She’s screaming for freedom
But not a whisper will come out
She’s wants anyone to hear her
She wishes she had the courage to shout

But the second she does
Everything will change
She’s dying for an end
But too comfortable in a dysfunction
Protecting her name
