Empty

I can't make myself feel,

My heart now covered in steel,

Needs to see you to even get a flutter.

When your near its like opening a shutter,

For I feel something besides cold.

That is getting really old.

At least when your there I'm not empty,

To bad what fills my soul is contempt,

And sadness for lost memories.
