Empty

I feel so empty

The will to live the will to survive has left me

I was broken when you met me

I was a girl who tried to give life a chance when you let me

I'm tired of living in a world, where nobody sees me

Sees me for the broken pieces inside me

The feelings that nobody needs me

the feelings that there's nothing on this earth to complete me

I keep a smile on face, but my mouth holds the lies

The truths to my secret, the reason for the tears in my eyes

I'm trying to hold on because I hate saying goodbye

But where do I turn to, when death is the only thing in my mind

The clock is ticking

Time is running out

Trying to give a damn, when I know I'm the last thing anyone cares about

But damn things could be worst

Young people are dying and mothers are crying

I'm sitting here giving up on life instead of trying

Everyday I'm fed, got a warm bed and a roof over my head

Things aren't the best, but the best is something I never had

Life isn't perfect and for that I'm kind of glad

I get to learn the struggles so I can truly appreciate everything I've ever had

But that doesn't justify dragging my name through the dirt

Stop acting like you're the only one that's ever been hurt

Never did I have you questioning your worth

Never did I ever make you feel like less than dirt

You built me up, just to break me down

Called me your queen

While another female wore my crown

Took me out of my element, then placed me into yours

Gave you everything I had, yet you still asked for more

Empty, You left empty
