The Empty Bottle
Dear Him,
You tell her that you love her
Then you walk away.
You come back when you need her
Because loneliness is a pain.
Your promises are just as empty
As the bottle, you hold in your hand.
You lift her up with false hope
Just to break her down again.
She loves you
And you know she does.
She cares for you
But you never cared once.
You don't deserve her
And you know that you don't.
You tell her that you love her
Then she walks away.
You beg her to come back
But she's not listening.
Your promises mean nothing
Now all you have to hold is that bottle in your hand.
