Empty Days & Sleepless Nights

A dark hole called home, but it's not even mine. Not living only existing, no hope, no worth, dealing with what I've been dealt. Keep it all inside, the words inside my mouth. We'll all be the same, lying in the dirt. Too afraid to make a change, keep quiet, stay down, just get by. Hate all around, does anyone see what I see, do you feel what I feel. I want to know. I want to know your pain, I want to know your hurt, I want to know your suffering. I want to know your love. I want to know all of thee above. Wounded hearts, broken dreams, but breathing. Time heals, fear subsides, light hits home. It's time to fill that hole. One day this black smog of hate underneath my chest will finally leave, and I'll walk away finally free.
