Empty Promises

All the things you have said,

All the things you have done.

All the things you had promised,

That you would become.

And now I can see,

That you were lying to me.

And all the things you have said,

Were like words in the air.

All your promises were empty,

Empty like your heart.

You were too blind to see,

That you tore me apart.

Don’t let my looks deceive you,

I’m stronger than you thought.

And when Destiny comes,

We’ll overcome what you brought.
