Empty Promises

Wait, what was that?

I’m sorry I’m lost again.

Yes, I know you think I have a little brain,

But in fact we’re just the same.

Maybe it’s not me, but you,

Who fumbles around with words.

I will promise to stay on task,

When you actually teach the class.
