Empty Reflection

I look in the mirror and hate the thing that I see,

There is no way that that failure can really be me.

But the reflection is empty... It is so empty.

Why is the world so superficial?

Looking  pretty on the surface but inside you're evil,

Then there's the misfits that don't look right at all,

We have good hearts but we always take the fall,

Looks aren't everything so just listen to me,

Why look at a reflection that is empty?

If you look at yourself you might hate what you see,

Not at the mirror but your soul truthfully,

You know that you are so empty.
