Empty Reservation

What rest within foretold
an inherent bruised mess
prisoners of the night
starved of elimination

Dark images
cast shadowed reflections
of emptiness blurred sight
harmoniously reaches for nothing

Riddled with despair
eclipsed like the moon
slight shimmer of light escapes
connects the dots in observation

A tiny trickle of blood
a culture shock circulate press on
sprung a leak in love tank
survival bleak yet does exist

Signaling not all is lost
mere morsel of hope given a chance
duked the Rubik's cube theory
birthed love into creation

This violate nature douse the light
now met with opposition
struggles to keep its grip
on the power of emotion
