Empty Words

Conscientious, driven, I push to achieve - A passion for knowledge a reason to believe.

You say to listen, to hear, to learn - Yet your words are empty, no clarity only concern.

I ask for guidance, I reach to understand - To find your hours are clouded no structure, no plan.

Worry not about the shirt I chose - but merely the path I require to succeed not oppose.

You possess the degree that I respect and admire - Yet why do I feel I lack in my desire.

My future is bright, my hopes are intense - I need your attention, it’s time to commence.

Hear my cries; know my direction - for this is my last step to make this correction.
