Empty Words From Empty Hearts

Empty words from empty hearts. Shattered to pieces and torn apart. Separated with distance so far away, Only wishing you would have stayed. My heart only lingers for you, But there isn't anything I can do. I've shed so many tears, Losing you was my worst fear. Never before, have I felt so alone. Hearing your voice hurts, so I don't pick up the phone I cover my ears and hide away, Hoping you'll come back someday. Thinking of you only brings pain, How long can I stay sane? The smile you loved has faded, Missing you makes me feel so jaded. Please just come back, So there's nothing I'll lack. Empty words from empty hearts. Shattered to pieces and torn apart. Separated with distance so far away, Only wishing you would have stayed. My heart only lingers for you, But there isn't anything I can do.
