Enchainment

Ever let fate lead you somewhere you weren't promised? Well I'm revisiting that place again, this isn't what I wanted. Supposedly, dreams are fake, if so why do I go to bed extra late? Me n the sun talk before my body bites the dust although it seems I fight n fuss then what's left? I should've been grounded by limitations, chained up praying for peace n freedom. Steady told I can make it, follow my dreams but I'm losing sight of them. I know I'm not as lyrical as these other artists however pardon while I still try when my chest is disheartened. Nothing but a star that's lost its shine, continuously knocked off after I begin a progressive climb. I don't feel talentless yet people semi understand my intellect since I don't have a following not so much as a finger is flexed. Believing my writing has improved my subject-been agreement goes down smooth. I guess being diverse strips a few stellas out of their groove. A deadweight night owl who rests like a zombie if they really cared they'd watch me. Maybe I'm just not cut out for this work from home gig, recycle my existence and close the lid. Currently lost in a mist of doubts its funny because I used to travel this route letting my demons come out, life's literally handing me lemons so I'm gonna deliver n rock like Lemonade Mouth!
