Enchantment Via Thorns
You are like a flower in the way you soak up the sunshine and demand the attention of those around you who can’t help but notice your beauty
You are like a rose in the way that you cast a spell on me, you enchant me with your beauty, but prick my finger and make me bleed, I want to hold you close and never let you go, but the harder I squeeze the more I feel the pain.
So I choose to leave you grounded and soon thereafter I realized that you grew around me and I was surrounded.
I need not take you with me or squeeze too hard because you chose to be right here in my backyard.
