An encounter with death

READ AND PONDER UPON: MY POEM AN ENCOUNTER WITH DEATH.. In a dreary and dead night, the death decended, Upon the roof of a beautiful house, Only the clamor of frogs croaking , They Stood still, listening the roar, Coming from upside nowhere, Eavesdropping, "Hush!danger befallen", They hid of fear and wreath then. Then the Death decended, its ears pricked, Into the room with well furnished furniture, Saw a man around Fiftees in deep slumber, Around him half finshed meal and fruits, A pen in hand, a notebook, a money bag. Costly dresses hanging in a cupboard, Precious everything as it saw there. "Shall i leave or do my job". The death whispered , and the man awakened , "Who are you". He shriveled fear. "I am DEATH, the part of your life" Oh! my God, how you dare? I have not finished yet, leave me alone. Look at this notebook, bills pending, A house to be build, children to marry, Crops not yet riped, thousands things pending. "Then what?"The death exclaimed. “Hay, hay look! Was born yesterday, So soon to leave , oh no, never, This money bag, you see, took years to assemble, To nurture my children too feed them, To build a house to buy some land, How can i leave, ". weeping and pleading. “who had told you to amase wealth, To care for others, to waste the power, " Oh! Fool,WHAT IS FOR THY SELF" Then, Death laid its soft hands on him, The door squeaked, and it flew away with his soul singing: "Fools amass wealth, wise repent and fear, Soul in your deposit, shall not tarry long, ........
