The E.N.D

Go on without me To that place you always wanted to see I still have time, you know Before I go to that place you want to be I still have time to grow Before you go But seeing you like this on your last bed Makes me want to leave with you though You turn your head With that expression that I dread "Don't let me go" you say With your eyes so blood shot and red I was wishing that I would never see this day But I guess that I couldn't get around it any other way You have a sickness that I wish I could mend But I can't exactly do anything to make it go away We were supposed to do something over the weekend But now I know that it's finally the end Your eyes have closed and your heart has stopped Oh God, what can I do? Your life has come to an end

Most think that this is from a past experience, but it actually isn't. I attempted to write a poem based on how someone could possibly feel when a loved one is fading away.
