in the end

In the end
By Nate

If I were given the opportunity to change the alphabet
I wouldn't I mean let's be honest I shouldn't.
We are but two hopeless lovers wrapped together by these boundless strings of fate...
I would kiss you should kiss you but we know were that road will lead us.
And frankly I thing it's too early you too late.
This isn't even our first date.
I was gonna ask you out the other day if I were to be honest.
I mean it's my poem so I should but I won't.
The fear that lingers in my heart my soul from denial is the reason why I don't.
I try to piece together my life but when I see you it all falls to pieces.
To be honest that's the reason why I love Reese's.
They remind me of you.
Beautiful wrapping but more to offer on the inside.
That's no pick up line it's the truth.
Anyway.
Were was I oh yeah that's right strings of fate.
Pick the time and the place and I will meet you at 8.
But don't worry it's not a date.
I know your hurt too I can tell it by your voice I can see it in your eyes.
And most of all I can feel it in your pride.
But you won't need that pack tonight girl let's put both our emotions , egos , and fear to the side.
And if you want we can have that extra value meal with extra fries on the side.
This ain't to one specific girl in my life but to all the ones I let go like the loose feather from a flying bird.
And if I could tell each and everyone one whose hints I missed I am sorry I would.
But in the end my word is just that...

my word.
