The End

The piercing shriek from the distance,

seemed to end the tranquility in an instance.

Like a leech hanging onto every ring,

Cacophony this would bring.

Be the discrepancy of human worth

And this spherical ball we call earth.

Society began to chafe quickly

The people grimacing and sickly.

An event that was so surreal.

Idyllic, a term no one could feel

The zenith of the bomb now done

The vestige of the human race is none
