In the End

Ever since you were born you were labelled a mistake

and misfortune followed you with every path that you take.

You were different since the beginning, why can't you be the same?

With all the sins you comitted, in the end you lost your aim.

You were blinded by the shame, and the sadness, and the anger.

All because you were the reason your father cheated on your mother.

You take all the blame, the beatings, and the abuse

and all your pleas for help, they were unheard, it was no use.

At school you tried to hide all the bruises, bleedings, and scars

and you were pushed into lockers, down the stairs, til you saw all the stars.

And they all stared. All of them with their eyes of pity.

You shook it off. All you wanted was to get out of this city.

You got out, so what now?

They say, "Get yourself a life and take a bow.

This is your stage. Get yourself your glory."

But in the end, you knew it was a tragic story.

You were used, by every person you trusted and knew.

And all your lovers took advantage of you.

So, what? Add it to all the broken pieces of this Earth.

Before you know it, you were labelled one with the dirt.

Slit wrists, broken lip, gotten so high out of all the drugs you could find

"Filthy... disgusting..." whispered voices in your mind.

Getting drunk on all the booze in the dark.

Alone with your demons and all of their remarks.

As you lay on the concrete

Another deadbeat on the street.

Finally convinced that your life is meaningless

you're finally tired and all you want to do is rest.

In the end, you were the one that broke

You were drowned with toxicity and choked

In the end, you were another angel undeserved

In this dying world... how absurd.
