THE END

"The end is here.

The edge is near.

Just one step. A brush of fear.

A spark of life overwhelmed by strife.

The blink of an eye. A slice of a knife.

"LOOK OUT!" "WATCH OUT!".

A warning given too late,

is the new command to open the gate.

You fall and fall.

Scream as you descend.

Hit the rocks below... and reach... THE END"

Yeti Noone

poet, mystic. Wrote it but somehow... missed it. Dark prose is somewhat of an artform of mine. Each portrait is akin to a dark meditation on the human condition/consciousness or lack thereof.
