The End

Comes at the end of every good story Curiosity is quenched But not every end can be good Like Earth's end... Began with an ugly change in the sky above The people looked up in fear at what they once loved Black, brown and green clouds The blue sky turned to yellow And the acid rain fell. The tornadoes ripped through every which way The birds and insects dropped stiff to the ground Buildings and houses flying around No more would the sun shine Now it will only burn them alive. The strangest of substances, grew in the lab Had finally been released to end this mad cycle the Earth had developed in turn So that life on Earth could Sin no more. The substance hardened the water Every drop of liquid turned to stone, cold and hard Every spec of dirt Every cell on Earth Turned to stone, turned to stone And thrived no more. -Mad-D
