The End

My world, my future, my life

Ends before my eyes

I see something cross the sky

Is this a dream? Oh! What horror I see

Family, friends

Say their goodbyes.

There is pain in their eyes

And their souls

The end is finally near.

What is this, a tear?

Or do I just fear

That I did not live enough.

Heat hits our skin

Sending shivers within

Never letting go, hand by hand

We walk through our land.

I see something cross the sky.

My world, my future, my life

Ends before my eyes.
