In the End 9-25-17

In the end,

I will always put myself before you

I will always make sure I am safe first

Because if I’m being honest

Truly and completely honest

I would rather hurt you

Than let myself get hurt

Fade away into the black

And watch you disintegrate into misery

Because I will always watch you suffer

Before I have to myself

In the end,

You are nothing but a sacrifice

A tool at my disposal

And yet, even now,

You still stay
