End of day

Job 33:4

4 The Spirit of God has made me,
and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

 End of the day

From early morning till the night

the day passed without notice.

Stayed so busy all day long

as time passed by unnoticed.

What is a day and its end

could it be an investment?

Into a place where time is none

and there is no more testing?

Is there a place for me to be

where flowers are always blooming?

A place where I can be me

where music needs no tuning.

Serene and peace rest in the Son

where angels sing in Glory.

And everlasting just begins

to adore the old-old story.
