At the end of the day

Just when I thought that I’ll be alright
Finally be able to sleep peacefully at night

A feeling deep and freezing cold
Dug his way into my shattered soul

Memories of the past replaying in my head
While lying awake in my uncomforting bed

The end of the day remind me of the pain
That implanted itself into my not-forgetting brain

I just want to get lost in the world of happy dreams
I was told it would be easy, but it’s harder then it seems
