end of days

I hold your hand tight and sit it upon my lap at the end of our stressful night , as I look into your wide puppy dog eyes . Just wishing I could hold your hand a second more to make the moment last a few minutes longer. Trying to hide the smirk on my face that you have given me in the fear to show vulnerability. My mind goes blank , My thoughts are now non existing they have got trapped in a black hole the only thing I can capture is the feeling in the pit of my stomach. Wanting to express the love I have for you in a whole new way everyday. I Wish I could stay in this moment constantly .  As I get ready to leave my heart fills in with the emotions of the sight of you driving away. I get the need to unlock my phone to distract  myself from the sentence that is said  at the end of the night. I could never imagine saying goodbye could be so heavy with the knowledge I'd see the person the next day.
