An End No Closer Than a Beginning

Look upon me, myself,

Look once, twice again,

Can you see it

Inside of

Me?

Look at you, yourself,

Look once and once more,

Can you see that,

That evil beneath

The Rose?

I have only seen it once,

Once and once yet again,

But it lies dormant,

Watching, waiting,

For You,

For Me,

For Us to tangle

With one and then another.

Throw the moment,

Throw past on the wind,

Have Us glide into the air,

So smoothly,

Without Trouble,

Until We

Fall

To the edge

Where our hatred leaves Us

In pieces of our former selves,

And somehow

We are put back

Together,

Placed just as precariously as we once were

On that edge

Where Nature

Will take it's course

To send Us spiraling

Again

Into the air

Battling with each other

To

No

End.
