The end, or a new beginning?

Hurry get me out of this pain
Why can I not move at all?
For one moment, paralasis ran through my brain.
The only thing surrounding me were white walls.

Seven hours in a surgery room,
Now with a 12 inch scar on the superficial level of my spine.
Hoping this was just a costume,
I tried not to wine.

Self confidence decreased,
She had 3 friends, at least.
Thinking it was the end of the world,
She didnt give up.

Although she gave up dancing,
She now wants everyones spine to be correct.
With scoliosis, it was painful advancing.
Be happy was what she reazlied she needed to be, we all have defects.

I am a very strong person, the only daughter in my family, although my parents never favored anyone and treated my siblings and I equally. As the middle child, I am the first one to go to college. At first, I wanted to be a dancer, but scoliosis struck me at the age of thirteen and that dream was crushed. Now I wish to pursue a career as a Radiologist, earning a bachelors and one day masters in Applied Science.
