The End Says It All
A humble beginning thinking we could live forever,
it was abruptly halted by the harsh reality
that no thing can live that long, besides a thought.
The thought that when you are young you think
your parents can live forever.
The thought that when you are young you think
you can do everything you wanted to.
The thought that when you are young you think
you are just the problem, not the solution.
I'm sorry, how selfish of me.
But that everlasting thought changes over time.
Your parents don't live forever, but their love does.
Your passions don't define you, but how you pursue them does.
Your self-deprivation doesn't deprive you, but feeds your hunger for greatness.
It's not how we think of the thought at the time.
It's how we think of the thought after it has passed.
Mindless thoughts transform physical bodies.
These legacies live forever. After all, no other thing lasts forever,
except what you leave behind.
