The End of the Sky
The sky was bright blue; birds sing a love song
But our path turned crooked and something went wrong
The comets stopped listening; the stars disappear
And the summer was definitely colder this year
The man on the moon, once smiling, has died
The white fluffy clouds turned gray and flat as they cried
The sun has exploded, simply not wanting to shine
All of this happened, and yet I still lie,
“I’m fine.”
